Have you ever heard the saying “Everyone has the same 24 hours in a day?”
While it’s technically true that everyone has 24 hours in a day, what we fill out 24 hours with is different. Some people have kids and 9-5 jobs and it’s difficult for them to get to the gym. So I’m here to give you some tips on how to train from home and get results.
1.) Invest in a good pair of dumbbells and a yoga mat.
These are the simplest and most affordable pieces of equipment that you could use get to start your home gym. There are so many workouts that you could do and see amazing results with just a set of dumbbells and a yoga mat including my bootcamp style workouts, and my high intensity strength training program.
2.) Create a schedule.
“I don’t have time to workout” is an excuse I hear all the time. Schedule your workouts like you would work, an outing or a date with a friend. I often encourage people to schedule their workout directly after work and don’t mentally consider your work day done until your workout is done.
3.) Workout with me
When I started training, I did home workouts with a set of dumbbells only. Give this workout a try and let me know what you think.
